Clarence Correctional Centre is Australia’s largest jail built in NSW. Amicus Construction assisted Icon Ceilings in sub-contracting works. Amicus was engaged in completing nine (9) buildings with the supply of labour and material for all internal ceilings and partitions, feature timber ceiling & wall joinery cladding, external framing for metal cladding, Colourbond ceiling cladding, metal door frame install and project management.
Labour and material logistics was a challenge to overcome, as the jail was separated in three (3) areas and built across on 22 acre of rural land.
