Amicus Construction was awarded the demolition, and external cladding replacement contract. The above design and construct project again consisted of working in and around a live building with sensitive patients being treated for cancer. Key challenges associated with this project included:
- Programming feasible working timetables not to coincide with patient treatment times
- Scaffold designs & access to building façade
- External demolition, rubbish removal and reclad works to install non-combustible cladding in order to comply with building code
